The Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for pipeline development, managing the entire sales process, and achieving sales goals and objectives for their assigned territory. The BDM will develop and implement a sales strategy to achieve such targets, build and grow client relationships, and execute business development activities within their region. The BDM will collaborate with other team members during new sales pursuits and is responsible for leading these activities internally. They will also participate in the creation of client deliverables including RFP responses and pitches. This is a hunter role with an excellent compensation plan.
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from a 4-year college or university and a minimum of 2 -4 years of related Sales/Business Development experience required. Having knowledge or experience with Data Center sales/operations/outsourcing is a plus and preferred. Those with IT sales backgrounds (hardware, services, or other related sales) will be considered. Candidates must have: excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational and analytical skills, solid presentation skills, ability to effectively and efficiently respond to inquiries from clients, co-workers, supervisor, and/or management, in a timely fashion.
